Who Are We
Trace Organ is a student-led non-profit organization that strives to educate the youth of the ingredients in food and how it affects body health
Through easily accessible food research, providing graphical posts, and other projects, we communicate with the public the importance of our body health in a simplified manner.
Our Values
To educate youth and everyone on ingredients in the food that we eat.
Tackle the generalization of food
as either "good" or "bad," it simply is not that simple when looking at the facts.

To provide reliable and easily accessible information to everyone! There are many influencers who make food claims which simply aren't true, we plan to give you the science and not bias.
Create a knowledgeable community to know what they are eating to benefit our health so we can make good decisions also for our health.
Inspire other students who may or may not have the same passions to learn more about food, biology, or chemistry or mix of all!

Learn more about food! We think that in this world, it's amazing that so many foods/ingredients exist, and that we should know more about them!

Meet Our Founder
Hi my name is Ethan Ma, I’m from BC, Canada, and I’m the founder and CEO of Trace Organ. I love food. I love to try something new, even if it pushes my out of my comfort zone. I started Trace Organ to learn more about what’s in my food and how I can help myself and everyone around me be aware of our body health.
His Story: "Why Did I Start Trace Organ?"
AT FIRST, through the long process of my mom’s kidney failure from a bad diet, I realized that I only have one body and needed to take care of it by first understanding food. Not knowing what the ingredients were in food and how they affected my health, I started researching food by myself.
I SOON REALIZED that not many people, including my friends and relatives, knew what they were eating mainly because they did not think about it or found it hard to find reliable, unbiased information online
IN THE END, in spite of COVID-19, I started Trace Organ to educate everyone, especially youth, on how to understand food so that it can benefit our health for the better and hopefully decrease the risk of diseases. With COVID-19, I believe that it's even more important that we know more about our food since the start of isolation
NOW, we have members from around the world who have the same passion as me for learning about our food. With even more members, I can learn about different cultures, what they eat, and learn about more ingredients beyond my area to spread my impact worldwide!
